      As can be seen from the PIP data, the number of people who are fatally injured is significantly reduced as a result of operating the truck or hitting a forklift. On the other hand, there are about 200 events per year of serious PIP events. Nevertheless, while working on the handling of industrial trucks, the number of injured people is still high.
    • 30% fewer accidents at work while using machines and devices (3)
      Comparing the accident data collected by PIP in the field of operation of machines and technical devices, significant improvement can be noted in this respect. In 2015, there were about 360 fatal accidents, and a year later there were only 254 such accidents, hence a decrease by approx. 30%. However, 11 years after the period in which employers should have adjusted the machines to minimum health and safety requirements in accordance with the regulations, PIP during inspection still discovers machines that are not safe for operators.
