The lift truck user must have documentation regarding each used, operated truck. Keeping the documentation of the trolley confirming the performance of the daily inspection or maintenance is a confirmation of the employer, trolley operator and conservator in the field of occupational safety, hence is subject to control not only the Office of Technical Inspection, but also the National Labor Inspectorate.

From the point of view of technical supervision regulations, the chains in the lifting system and the forks of the trolley are load-bearing elements and their repairs can be performed only in consultation with the inspector of the Office of Technical Inspection.

The eligibility requirements for truck operators (for drivers, forklift drivers) and for people maintaining carriages are set out in the regulations on motorized road transport vehicles and in the regulations concerning handling devices.

Is the certificate of completing the course for handling forklifts, e.g. from 2004, valid until the end of 2019? Should employees after this date should finish again, with a positive result, training conducted according to a program developed or approved by the Office of Technical Inspection and pass the state examination carried out by the qualification commission of the competent Office of Technical Inspection?

Works performed with the use of motor-powered trucks due to the specificity and accompanying hazards may pose particular hazards to human health or life and require a list of such works to be drawn up. However, the question arises whether such work can be assessed in terms of particularly dangerous work? Should it also be included in the list of particularly dangerous works?
- Written order to perform work using the truck (16)
The obligation of the organizer of works performed with the use of a truck - creating the possibility of a particular threat to human health or life related to conditions prevailing at the place of transport - is to issue a written order to perform such work. It is only on the basis of such a written order that the trolley operator can start work and perform it.
