- Resilience - an important phase in improving the organization on the example of healthcare entities
The purpose of this article is to present the general idea of organizational resilience and a proposal for its location in the stages of organizational improvement. The described phenomenon was related to the example of healthcare organization. The article uses the method of analysis and criticism of the literature as well as synthesis and logical inference. In the first part of the article, the author describes the essence of resilience, gives its definitions and explains its importance in the light of the organization improvement phenomenon. The second part of the article deals with the resilience of healthcare from the point of view of the resilience of the healthcare system and organization itself. The author presents and explains the phases of excellence in healthcare organization, from “Excellence 1.0” to “Excellence 6.0”.
- The Voivodeship Occupational Medicine Center in Gdańsk as an example of a resilient healthcare organization in the COVID-19 era
The purpose of this study is to describe the case of the functioning of WOMP during the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of its preparation and response to the related threats, allowing for further, efficient activity. In the first part of the article, the authors used the analysis and critique of scientific literature. On this basis, a short explanation of the resilience phenomenon in relation to health care facilities was made. In the next part - the case study method was used. The methods of synthesis and logical reasoning were also used. The authors presented the results of the self-assessment carried out at WOMP in terms of implementing the resilience strategy. In addition, selected examples of resilience measures in the area of training and case law services are described.
- Reporting the turnover of medicinal products to improve the flow of information on the inventory of pharmacies
The aim of the study is to identify the role of reporting the turnover of medicinal products in pharmacies. The basic assumptions of the inventory reporting requirement have been presented in relation to individual stakeholder groups related to information on the inventory levels in a pharmacy. The benefits for individual stakeholder groups resulting from the need to prepare such reports were also identified.

It was 1868 when engineer John Peake Knight activated the first traffic lights. Using red and green lights, he regulated traffic at the intersection of Bridge Street and Great George Street in London, near the Palace of Westminster. And although this signaling lasted only a month - until the gas it was powered with exploded, it became the basis of the system currently used around the world. Road signs and speedometers in our cars perform a similar function. This is nothing more than a visualization that makes it easier for us to comply with the established rules. The same concept can and should be used in industry. In last month's article, I mentioned that cleaning and inspection standards are intended to teach and consolidate workers in the routine of machine cleaning. And because "cleaning is an inspection", they can also check pressure gauges, oil level in tanks, belt tension, temperature, condition of coolants and much, much more. However, to do this, they need to know what the standards and correct settings are. This is the space for visualization. Examples of visualization In the article I present a few examples of visualization from various industries and ranges of machine operation. And while the topic may seem simple, there are aspects that require more attention.
