The issue of the direct legal basis enabling the measurement of the temperature of employees prior to admission to work is still an open matter, often also a debate. In case of obtaining a positive decision of the Chief Sanitary Inspector or the voivodship sanitary inspector acting under the authority of the Chief Sanitary Inspector, allowing the measurement of temperature, the use of preventive measurements raises no doubts as to their legality. In the absence of such a decision, it remains to obtain the consent of the employees to measure the temperature.
