      Labor Protection Council at its meeting on January 24 this year adopted a position on the "National Labor Inspectorate Action Program for 2018". She positively assessed it, recognizing that the priorities of the activity and the hierarchy of tasks were properly defined and reliably documented. The Council recommended NLI to put greater emphasis on issues related to legal protection of labor in mining and limitation of trade on Sundays.

      We print a list of laboratories accredited by the Polish Center for Accreditation to perform, among others work environment research. A few years ago, we published in the ATESTU laboratories that had the authorization and, few, accreditations to perform the mentioned research. For the re-presentation of the lab database, which was obviously updated, the readers' phones prompted us with the question: where can specific work environment research be carried out? The list is printed in alphabetical order of provinces.

      The "OSH lesson" returned to ATESTU in the new formula. Years ago, they took the form of ready-to-use outlines that are currently less needed. Teachers are looking for studies, sources, and especially practical hints, tips that may be relatively self-educating materials for students. And such Our lessons will be used as a kind of character sheets for individual professions. As materials for all who want to supplement or test their knowledge, in particular for instructors (teachers) of the profession, students and their parents (also at the stage of choosing a profession), for people conducting workplace instructions as part of OHS trainings, for persons gaining qualifications in the service Health and safety and first steps in the profession. The first lesson (in several parts: ATEST 11-12 / 2016 and 1, 3-5, 7/2017) was dedicated to the welder's profession. The second lesson concerns the profession of bricklayer-plasterer.

      The analyzed collective heavy accident at work occurred during the preparatory work preceding the repair of the roof covering in a five-storey multi-family building. These works have been incorrectly organized. The platform used for transport was overloaded (so-called "boost"), the platform's basket tilted by 180o - as a result of which two employees fell out of the basket and fell from the height of about 3-4 meters onto the pavement, suffering severe injuries.
