- Investigation and analysis of the thermal state of the drive units of the belt conveyor based on the thermovision measurement
The article presents research on the determination of the thermal state of the drive units of the main haulage belt conveyor. In the conducted research, thermovision, which is characterized by non-contact measurement, was used. Based on the results obtained, conclusions were drawn about the technical condition of the drive units.
- Improvement of work safety and functionality of traffic management in the mining shaft hoist
The article presents information on quantitative and material changes to mining shaft hoists, introduced in 2018-2020. As an example, the modernization of the mining shaft hoist in the cage compartment of the Sobieski III Tauron Wydobycie shaft is described, in which a control unit based on the Mentor thyristor converters was installed in the excitation system of the drive motor and control generators, which made it possible to replace systems that were troublesome in operation . Additionally, in order to stabilize the speed, the system for determining the speed value of the hoisting machine has been modified. Speed regulation is realized by a follow-up speed regulation system built on the basis of a digitally controlled Mentor reverse converter.
