A cyclical (every three years) event devoted to issues in the area of vibroacoustics, this year was the first such a large conference that after the interruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic was held stationary. Four days of lectures, meetings and exchange of experiences were intended to ensure that the environment of human life and work becomes more and more free from such threats as noise or vibrations. The main issues discussed during the conference included: noise from turbines and wind farms, including infrasound noise, the impact of noise and vibrations on humans, as well as noise and vibration metrology, especially in the environment.

As part of the cooperation, cyclical meetings are organized to exchange information and experiences on issues raised by members of the Expert Network and issues related to CIOP-PIB's activity. The formula of the network's operation assumes increasing the quality of services provided by its members through participation in constantly conducted seminars and training sessions and active cooperation with CIOP-PIB in activities aimed at building a safety culture in Poland.

- Measurements of noise produced by sources close to the ear - on the example of headsets (21)
The article presents the results of measurements of noise parameters produced by headsets. The results of the measurements presented in the article confirmed that in relation to the tested headsets, with specific settings of the amplification system, the NDN value of the assessment of exposure to noise was not exceeded. However, there is a possibility of exceeding the operating threshold in the case of the noise exposure level related to the eight-hour daily working time.

During the meeting, the proposed limit values for two reprotoxic substances were considered, i.e. 1-ethyl-2-pyrrolidone and 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and verification of the value of the maximum permissible concentration (NDS) for benzene, carcinogenic substance of category 1A and mutagenic substance of category 1B.
