- Social security reform - what are the changes
The major amendment adopted by the Parliament on August 11, 2021, incl. Acts: system, pension, allowance and accident introduces many changes and clarifies the currently binding provisions, which so far have caused discrepancies in interpretation. The amendment to, among others, unifies the rules of insurance coverage by partners of commercial companies, and introduces new rules for covering voluntary insurance, determining the right to social insurance benefits and their payment (10)

The place of work by employees may be determined on a point-by-point basis (stationary), by indicating a certain geographic area in which the employee performs work, or by specifying a mobile (variable) workplace. Correct indication of the place of work in the employment contract is necessary to determine the employee's entitlements for business trips, it also allows to avoid the need for frequent changes in the content of the contract.

In the event of a decision to finance an employee of all or part of the costs of improving professional qualifications, the employer has the right to oblige him to remain in employment for a specified period of time after completing training. If this condition is not met, the workplace may require the employee to reimburse proportionally such costs.
