- Protection measures for laser class 3B
The plant has an ophthalmic laser system classified as class 3B. Pursuant to the ordinance on occupational health and safety, the employer does not perform tests and measurements for works related to exposure to optical radiation, if the class 3B laser has been provided with collective protection measures allowing the device to be classified as class 1. What are these measures?
- Can a NO device be installed at the filling station
The regulations in force do not prohibit the installation of devices for filling and emptying transport tanks (so-called NO) at petrol stations.
- What actions should be taken when the noise limit value is exceeded?
After exceeding the permissible noise levels or thresholds, the employer must take measures to reduce the occupational risk related to noise, taking into account the available technical solutions and scientific and technical progress.
