    • Protection of the employment relationship, minimum wage and union dues after changes in regulations (12)
      The Act amending the Act on bridging pensions and certain other acts introduces new regulations relating to the protection of the employment relationship, the minimum wage and the limit on the deduction of expenses for membership fees paid to trade unions from income. The most important of them will enter into force 30 days after the announcement of the amendment in the Journal of Laws and on January 1, 2024.

    • Telework must be changed to remote work by October 7, 2023 (16)
      By October 7, 2023, employers who currently employ employees under telework contracts should terminate their work in this mode. The employer can decide himself how and under what conditions he will switch from telework contracts to a new employment formula, e.g. full-time remote work, hybrid work or traditional stationary work.
  • Salaries
    • Remuneration for the period of unemployment of an employee reinstated to work (26)
      Remuneration for the period of unemployment is of a compensatory nature. A claim for this remuneration may be made in the event of unjustified or illegal termination of the employment relationship. The amount of remuneration for the period of unemployment is determined by the provisions of the Labor Code.
